An excellent reading book! I loved it! I found it to be such a fascinating story, it just drew me right in. Wonderfully done, I had a hard time putting it down. I highly recommend it and can’t wait for her next book to come out!

I have just finished reading “Out of Time” and thoroughly enjoyed it. Intriguing story with plenty of action. Vlad is my favourite character!

This would not have been my first choice of genre but I very quickly got hooked on the characters and the plot.

The MC Dr Scott is quirky and not easy to like but interesting for all that.
The people she encounters along the way are so well written, each adding to the tale, until you arrive at the conclusion – hoping there is more.
Really good read.

This is my first paranormal book, but I found it to be a really good mystery as well. The writing is crisp and compelling. About two thirds of the way through I just had to finish it to know how it ended. There is humour in the book, and several of the characters are indeed “characters.” I loved the dog! Anna is a strong woman, used to doing everything herself. One of the subplots revolves around her learning humility and patience as well as learning to trust others. Does she succeed? Well, you will have to read the book. Two of her talents are fencing and rock climbing; the scenes using these talents seem technically accurate and authentic. I appreciated the lack of graphic sex and violence. I think it is suitable for a teenager.

I have just finished reading “Out of Time” by Cherie Baker. Words almost fail me. I enjoyed it so much and look forward to more of her work. A skilled writer and story teller. I admire Anna greatly and must say that I have fallen in love with Vlad. (and I am not a dog lover) Most enjoyable book to read.

Great read. A well-written tale told with a touch of humour. If this is your genre give it a try.

A quirky paranormal tale.

The plot is quite different from anything I’ve read in a while and follows Anna, who is 600 years old (though not a vampire. It’s not that kind of paranormal). I enjoyed the archaic feel of the main character and the magical/spiritual elements throughout the story.
I bought a paperback copy direct from the author at a conference last year and am finally getting around to writing the review! The paperback itself is beautiful quality.

I write as Chair of the Federation of Writers (Scotland) to say how impressed we were with the service provided by Drumcross in preparing a cover for our 2 latest publications. Cheryl listened very carefully to our suggestions and came up with several examples, all of which were excellent. It was hard to choose but once we made our choice nothing was too much trouble to get the cover design exactly right. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and extremely prompt service.
